Heavenly

"...Heavenly, there is no better view on a sunny day than from the top of the Sky Express Chair....you can see for miles, across Lake Tahoe to Squaw Valley and below you is 4,800 acres of terrain to explore...one word: Heavenly."

Resort

Overlooking the South Shore of Lake Tahoe lies one of the most beautiful reosrts in North America, with stunning water views surrounded by the inspiring peaks of the Sierra Mountain Range, and views of the ranch-lands of Carson Valley on the not-too-distant horizon. This slice of heaven boasts a snowfall that tops 20 feet virtually every year, over 300 days of sunshine, a massive 4,800 skiable acres (one of North America’s largest), and features the highest elevation and longest vertical drop (more than five miles long) of anywhere else in the region. Welcome to Heavenly…

Heavenly Ski Resort is located in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range at Monument Peak, straddling the state line between California and Nevada. Few ski resorts match Heavenly's superior scenic beauty and expansive network of lifts, terrain, trails and snowmaking. As the only bi-state resort in the United States, this resort features 17 lifts in California and 12 lifts in Nevada. And we mustn’t forget their claim to fame with some of the best tree skiing on the planet.

Heavenly also currently has one of America's largest snowmaking systems, powerful enough to cover 70 percent of their trails in machine-made snow. From long intermediate cruisers, to the chutes of Mott Canyon, to the gentle slopes of the beginner areas, Heavenly has variety for skiers of all abilities.

With a high-speed gondola on your doorstep, a huge variety of eclectic shops, fine dining, art galleries, hot springs, notoriously famous nightlife, and an extensive list of winter activies to choose from, there really isn’t any reason you shouldn’t give Heavenly a go.
