Deer Valley is a luxury ski resort located near the historic mining town of Park City, Utah. It is one of the few remaining ski resorts in the world that still does not allow snowboarders and also limits the number of skiers allowed on the mountain each day.

No other ski resort has ever earned the prestigious ranking so many times consecutively. And remarkably, in the past ten yers, Deer Valley's rating hasn't dipped lower than third, with a #2 ranking in 2001/2002; a #1 ranking in 2002/2003, a #3 rating in 2003/2004; a #2 rating in 2004/2005; another #1 ranking in 2005/2006; a #2 rating in 2006/2007; and #1 rankings in the 2007/2008, 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 seasons.

The charm and solitude of Deer Valley Resort’s secluded mountain setting is found just 36 miles from the Salt Lake City International Airport. Direct flights from most major cities enable you to leave home in the morning and ski Deer Valley Resort the same afternoon.

Deer Valley Resort has recently invested $9 million in improvements, including a new high-speed detachable quad chairlift, Lady Morgan Express, in the Empire Canyon area. The area includes over 200 new skiable acres, including 65 acres of gladed skiing, and nine new ski runs (three expert runs, one intermediate run and five beginner runs). Improvements also include the replacement of Snow Park Lodge’s upper and lower decks with heated pavers and the installation of new automated ski tuning machines in the Snow Park Rental Shop.
