Deer Valley is a luxury ski resort located near the historic mining town of Park City, Utah. It is one of the few remaining ski resorts in the world that still does not allow snowboarders and also limits the number of skiers allowed on the mountain each day.

Deer Valley Resort has been honored with being named the number one ski resort in North America by the readers of SKI magazine for the fourth time. Remarkably, in the past seven years, the resort's ratings haven't dipped lower than third, with number one rankings in 2002, 2005 and now again this year. And, Deer Valley is consistently ranked number one in the individual areas of dining, guest service and mountain grooming.

The charm and solitude of Deer Valley Resort’s secluded mountain setting is found just 36 miles from the Salt Lake City International Airport. Direct flights from most major cities enable you to leave home in the morning and ski Deer Valley the same afternoon.

Deer Valley has planned for another great ski season by investing $9 million in improvements, including a new high-speed detachable quad chairlift, Lady Morgan Express, in the Empire Canyon area. The area includes over 200 new skiable acres, including 65 acres of gladed skiing, and nine new ski runs (three expert runs, one intermediate run and five beginner runs). Improvements also include the replacement of Snow Park Lodge’s upper and lower decks with heated pavers and the installation of new automated ski tuning machines in the Snow Park Rental Shop.
