Terrain Parks
Big Sky will spoil you with three amazing parks to choose from...
Explorer Park is still the spot for newbies and those cutting their teeth on new tricks. Swifty Park has nine jumps perfectly spaced to throw 5's and 7's, and new on the black diamond Ambush Park, is two 30 foot jumps and a mean barrel bonk. For those willing to literally step out of the metaphorical box, theres a slick new butter pad.
Mountain Hosts
Each day at 10.30am and 1.30pm a member of the Guest Services team will meet you at the bottom of the gondola to lead a tour of the mountain. The tour is free, and available for intermediate and above levels.
On Mountain Dining
Big Sky offers dining options from sushi to wood fired pizzas to local wild game. Extensive wine lists, local micro brews and handcrafted desserts can also be found at many of their establishments.
On the summit, stop by the Carabiner Lounge, where you can cosy up in the comfy oversized chairs and put your feet up by the fireplace. There is live apres ski music and drink specials daily; quick, hearty skier lunches featuring chili and sandwiches, and special sushi nights.
You can also visit Peaks Restaurant for casual fine dining with a Euro-western flare, and for a warm drink, Coffee Cart is a great espresso bar with juice and pastry treats.
