Beaver Creek Village Info
On The MountainBeginners/First Timers the base area at Beaver Creek Village offers a learning area serviced by two lifts Haymeadow and Highlands lifts. A good Beginner area to head to away from distractions is at the top of the mountain. The Drinkwater Chair takes you to an area that has no intermediate or expert runs but allows you to enjoy the same wonderful views as every one else away from the more experinced skier or boarder.Arrowhead is also an excellent area as this is well groomed and appears to not get so many people a great run to try is Piece O 'Cake. Intermediate skiers and boarders will enjoy Centennial,Latigo and Gold Dust Runs further along on the western side.On recommendation head to Larkspur Bowl with it's wide open slopes with the odd occasional roller, there are also some fun trails in the Aspen trees along Primrose run down into the bowl. For those wanting to take it easy and get their ski legs back Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead are the perfect slopes to head to with beauitful groomed wide open slopes. Advance/Expert trails are found at The Talons which start from the Birds of Prey down into Grouse Mountain and Larkspur Bowl. Some of the best days we found were on Rose Bowl which is great for boarders and skiers with the option of taking bumps or fresh powder Ripsaw is an excellent trail to take here. For those still wanting more challenges are the Stone Creek Chutes (Extreme) but watch where you come in as there is the occasional obstacle that may trip you up along the way.
