The Mountain Chalet is a friendly non-smoking, family-run hotel, in the heart of Aspen. Located at the base of Aspen Mountain and only two blocks from the Silver Queen Gondola. Adjacent to the mall, restaurants, shops and the free shuttles to Buttermilk, Highlands and Aspen/Snowmass.
Since 1954 when Ralph Melville opened his dream lodge right downtown between the two ski lifts, the Melville family has happily served Aspen visitors. The chalet focus on a casual, friendly environment which allows guests to interact with each other in the cozy lobby.
