Beginners/First Timers
Blackcomb Mountain - For those starting out the base of Blackcomb Mountain offers an ideal learning area to gain your confidence, once you feel more adventurous head to the Solar Coaster Express.A great area especially for children is the Adventure Area and the Magic Castle.

Whistler Mountain- Is great for those beginning and for children learning. The learning centre is found at the half way station on the Whistler Village Gondola and offers a great secluded area for those starting out away from the distractions of other skiers and boarders.Childern will love the tree forts which are accessible from the Bear Cub Trail near the Big Red Express.

Intermediate
Blackcomb Mountain -7th Heaven is fantastic for intermediate levels with its wide open bowl and the option trees to dart in and out of.

Whistler Mountain- For the lower intermediate level a great area to head to is Harmony Bowl or down to the Big Red Express Chair lift if you take the Peak Chair and head left down The Saddle this will lead you down to the Big Red Express Chair lift with the option of taking several blue runs to the chair.

Expert/Advanced
Blackcomb Mountain - Well known for being some of the best Expert terrain in North America are the bowls off Spankys Ladder.
Blackcomb Glacier is accessible via the Showcase T-Bar and the Blowhole a naturally carved out half pipe offers a great run down and you can make this as difficult or easy as you like by choosing which line you take. However a note to snowboarders the run out can be quite slow so you will need to pick up a bit of speed to not end up walking.

Whistler Mountain - At the top of Whistler Mountain are 5 fantastic bowls to explore Symphony Bowl, Harmony Bowl, Flute Bowl, Glacier Bowl, Whistler Bowl and West Bowl as well as Bagel Bowl which is situated on the far right of Whistler Mountain.
Some of the steepest terrain on Whistler is The Couloir and The Cirque off the Peak Chair.
