The charming, Victorian inspired village offers convenient ski-in, ski-out access to Silver Stars boutique retail shops, restaurants and cafes. The magical village offers an excellent selection of hotels, a purpose-built international ski hostel, award-winning vacation homes, and suites and condos each with their own unique style and warm hospitality. This pedestrian only, mid-mountain village provides ski-in, ski-out access from every doorstep.


Activities and Attractions

The Village | Guest Services
Located in the village on the Main Street Boardwalk, the Guest Services Information Desk is the first place to go if you have any questions about Silver Stars huge range of on-mountain activities and services. The staff can assist you with any inquiries you may have about the resort, provide you with brochures or book a sleigh ride, snowmobile tour, Paradise Camp Dinner Tours or our Intermountain Bus Shuttle.  Direct Line: +1 250 558-6019.

The Village | Adventure Park
If you are in the mood for some fun, visit the Adventure Park. Whether it is a thrilling tube ride, ice skating on our outdoor pond, mini-snowmobile riding, or going on a sleigh ride, the Adventure Park has plenty of fun for the whole family. Youll never run out of things to do! There is also an outdoor fire pit to warm up around while you are sipping your tasty hot chocolate.

Horse Sleigh Rides
Take in the views of the village centre and surrounding area in style with a horse-drawn sleigh ride. Scenic sleigh ride are available seven days a week and range from a 20 minute ride up to one hour.  Ask about their spectacular dinners at the Wild Horseman's Cabin.

Ice Skating
The outdoor ice rink is located in the Adventure Park area. The one hectacre natural skating surface provides a large area to skate.

Tube Town
Truck size inner tubes allow for hours of fun! Located at the Adventure Park, Tube Town offers four lanes of tubing and provides a specialised tube lift to take you back to the top.

Mini-Sleds
Mini-Sleds are miniature snowmobiles and are great for kids aged 7 to 12 years. In a safe and supervised environment, kids have a chance to drive their own snowmobile on a specially built motocross style course.

Snowshoeing
Try snowshoeing for a unique winter adventure that includes an interpretive guide and snowshoe rentals. The guide will tour you through the natural wonders of Silver Star's wilderness.

Spa Services
Ousia Day Spa offers a wide variety of luxurious treatments that allow you to pamper yourself the way you deserve.  Located in the National Altitude Training Centre, your adventure in relaxation is just an appointment away.

National Altitude Training Centre
The NATC is home to the indoor climbing wall, fitness centre and wax room. Drop-in climbing is available every week during the winter season. The fitness centre is open seven days a week.

Day Trip to Big White
Your lift ticket is valid at our sister resort Big White.  A shuttle runs on Thursdays (numbers dependant) and provides you the opportunity to experience two world-class resorts.

Shopping

Silver Star offers an eclectic array of boutique shopping with something for everyone. Enjoy a stroll down the boarded sidewalks and check out our vast collection of goods from outdoor multi-sport clothing, to ski equipment to unique gifts and souvenirs.

Dining

The village may be quaint, but the selection is vast. Whether you are looking for a burger and beer before heading back out on the slopes for the afternoon or you're in the mood for a bottle of the Okanagan's finest wine to compliment your steak, Silver Star has it all.

The Club Saloon is the party place on the mountain, live music on weekends.
The Den Bistro and Bar: Live entertainment, huge bar and gas fireplace. Great food and daily specials. Kids are welcome.
Paradise Camp Dinner Tours: Enjoy a fine dining experience in a rustic home-spun cabin. Fridays and Saturdays.
Silver Grill Steak and Chop House, offers a more formal dinner setting and an impressive wine list.
Town Hall Eatery in the heart of the village offers sandwiches, homemade soups, chilli, salads, burgers, fries and more. Daily special and kids menu.
Tube Town Cantina at Adventure Park offers burgers, hot dogs and snack foods.
Allora Wine Bar is an intimate place with rustic charm and services a selection of local wines and tapas style dishes from 5pm to 11pm.
Bean to Cup in the village is well known for their specialty coffees, sandwiches and pastries.  Eat in or take out.
Bugaboos Cafe-Bakery on the Vance Creek boardwalk is a taste of European and Canadian specialty pastries, Dutch hot chocolate, coffee and snaks.  A great lunch or apres ski spot.
The Bulldog Grand Cafe is a fully service apres bar offering casual and fine dining options.
HB Pizza is a little slice of heaven at Silver Star. Classic and gourmet hot pizzas.
Isidore's Cuisine on Main Street is open for lunch and dinner and menu features seasonal and local produce with a Swiss twist.
Long John's Pub is decorated in Silver Star's heritage mining theme and features two fireplaces and large televisions. Kids are welcome.
Mountain Katz offers a dining experience unlike any other.  Great location.


On Mountain Groceries

If you are looking to buy groceries while you are at Silver Star, the Lord Aberdeen Market is the place to go. The store has a full selection of groceries including fresh produce, gourmet meats, specialty foods, baked goods, health and beauty products, liquor, a great selection of local wines, and video rentals.  They also offer a delivery service; get groceries delivered right to your door!  View website

Where are the ATMs located?  ATM machines are located in the lobby of the Vance Creek Lodge, the lobby the Lord Aberdeen Hotel, the lobby of The Bulldog Hotel, the Town Hall Cafeteria and in The Saloon.

Is there public Internet access?  You can check your webmail, the stock reports, the forecast, and anything else from the public Internet stations at Bean to Cup Cafe.
