Free Mountain Tours
Silver Star's Ski Partners is the perfect way to become more intimate with the mountain. Ski Partners meet daily in the village at 9:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. and offer guests FREE mountain tours. The volunteers Ski Partners offer their knowledge of the best runs, hidden treasures and easy access routes back to your ski-in/ski-out accommodation. Ski Partners specialize in all aspects of mountain tours, from ski, snowboard and cross country terrain. Look for our Ski Partners in the centre of the village, wearing their blue and yellow jackets - and don't forget to say hi to Stanley, the honourary K-9 Ski Partner.
Night Skiing
From mid December to mid March, you can ski under the lights. The Summit and Silver Queen Chairs provide you access to novice/intermediate to advanced trails on Friday and Saturday nights.
New for 2011/12 Season - Heli-skiing
Silver Star Mountain Resort become the first resort in the interior of BC to offer heli-skiing with Eagle Pass Heli-skiing. A Bell 212 helicopter will take 10 skiers and 2 professional certified guides from Silver Star village to the Gold Range in the Monashee Mountains. Single or multi-day adventures are available.
