Revelstoke Mountain Village InfoOn The MountainRevelstoke favours advanced skiers, but not to worry if youre just starting out, next winter's new chairlifts will please beginner and intermediate skiers as well. Beginners should definitely jump onto the Revelation Gondola and enjoy a long run back down on The Last Spike. There are a few intermediate detours such as Devils Club and Wooley Bully when you feel ready for the challenge. Intermediate skiers/riders will have a handful of choices throughout the entire mountain. Take the Revelation Gondola and The Last Spike easy run over to The Stoke Lift. From there you can continue the intermediate version of The Last Spike, or have a go on Critical Path. Advanced/Experts will be happy to know they have 60% of the runs catered just for them. Make your way straight to the top via the Revelation Gondola and The Stoke Lift, and get your adrenaline going with Vertigo, Jalapeno, and Snow Rodeo. Ski and Board SchoolDiscover Programs " for those of you that are brand new to skiing or snowboarding, this program provides a great introduction to the mountain. Included is a beginner area lift pass, equipment rentals, and a two-hour lesson. Group Clinics " A great way to start the season whether youre looking to polish your skills, or its your first time on the mountain. Private Sessions - The ultimate learning experience. With one-on-one direction, this clinic is up-close and personal to ensure real learning in a fun atmosphere. With a private instructor, you learn how and what you want, when you want. Mens and Ladies Days - Enjoy a two-hour group clinic in the afternoon, and finish off with some appetizers, beverages, and door prizes at the Day Lodge. Attractions and ActivitiesSnowmobiling, Heli, CAT, Downhill, Nordic Skiing, Ski Touring, Curling, Skating, Tobogganing & Snow Shoeing are all available here, and with an average snowfall of 60 feet, you cant go wrong. ShoppingThe Revelstoke Mountain Resort Retail Store can be found in Nelsen Lodge, located right across from the Revelation Gondola. The Retail Shop offers a great selection of backcountry gear, avalanche beacons, touring equipment, skis, boots, helmets, goggles and thermals. The Retail Store will also carries a great selection off outerwear, mid-layers and base-layers to keep you warm and cozy. DiningThe stunning post-and-beam Mid-Mountain Lodge features a cafeteria-style restaurant with an espresso bar, and deck with a barbeque. The Restaurant is open during ski season from December to April, and seats 215 people. Some of the tasty menu items include homemade burgers, a selection of panini and deli sandwiches, a "build your own" pasta station, chili in a bread bowl, a kids' menu, and fresh, homemade baking. All of your favourite hot and cold beverages can be found at the espresso bar, including coffee from Oso Negro, and Mount Begbie beer on tap. Dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning views of the spectacular Columbia Valley, and for those mild, sunny days, enjoy a freshly-grilled bison burger on the 2,400 square foot deck with seating for 120. NightlifeBig Eddy Pub and Grizzly Sports Bar & Grill are just a couple of choices for some of Revelstokes best nightlife.
