Red Mountain Mountain Info


Only 10 kilometres north of the Canada/US border, the resort is situated within the community of Rossland, in southeastern British Columbia, 3 hours north of Spokane, Washington; 3.5 hours east of Kelowna and 1.5 hours southwest of Nelson.


Terrain Parks

With new jumps, jibs, permanent skier / boarder-cross course, and park wide sound system, big change is in store for Red Park (located on the T-Bar slope). The on-hill park staff is dedicated to the quality of features and the safety of Reds skiers and boarders. With the resorts Natural Progession system in place, there is something for every skill level allowing enthusiasts to slowly and safely work their way to a pro level. 

A variety of rail features including kinks, rainbows, flat downs, boxes, a battleship, an S-rail, and street rails, new jumps, hips, and XL kicker are all on the plans and should be open this season!



Mountain Tours 

If you are new to the mountain, take advantage of the resorts fantastic Snowhost Program with free tours of the mountain. Tours depart daily from the base area at 9:00am and 12:00pm.



On Mountain Dining 

Rossland township serves as Red Mountain's Village, and you'll want to head to town for a wide variety of great dining choices. There are half a dozen fantastic cafes, and twice as many restaurants to suit whatever you're in the mood for, from pizza and tapas to Mexican and Chinese. Stop by Rossland Coffee & Tea Company for something to warm you up, and later on the evening check out Gabriella's Apres Ski Restaurant for fine Mediterranean and Italian cuisine.
