Panorama Mountain Village Info

"Head to the mineral springs at Radium Hot Springs or enjoy a massage at Sol Spa in the village. Check out the quirky stores in Invermere or enjoy lunch/dinner by Lake Windermere. If you can't get enough of the skiing there is always more with day trips to Lake Louise."

On The Mountain

Beginners/First Timers starting out at Panorama the best place to go is the learning area and the Mile 1 Quad Express to get comfortable before trying any of the other chairlifts. The learning area, with a platter, moving carpet and a chair,is found close to the main village area on the lower slopes.

Intermediate terrain to head to is Alive Glades and Sun Down Bowl.
There is also the option of Black Diamond runs on the lower mountain before checking out more challenging terrain higher up.

Advanced levels - Once used primarily for Heli " skiing is Taynton Bowl with its wide open tree runs. With chutes of more than 1,700ft vertical this makes for some great skiing and boarding for advanced and expert levels.

The Bilodeau School of Skiing and Snowboarding

Known as one of the finest Ski Schools in North America - owned and operated by Don Bilodeau and his family Heather, Stuart and Hanna.

Ski School lessons at Panorama Mountain are great with an emphasis on family but the ability to cater for every type of skier/boarder from those starting out to those getting ready for the powder.
After living at Panorama for a season I found the instructors take a genuine interest in guests as the learning environment is an intimate and quiet setting.

The Village

The main part of the village has a small selection of shops, cafes and restaurants, the Sol Spa and outdoor hot pools. Lower down in the village is a small grocery store, pub and restaurant. The lower and upper village is linked by an open air gondola.
