Only 2 hours drive south of Banff makes Panorama Mountain Village (and 3.5 hours from Calgary) a favourite for locals and those wanting to get away from the frontier slopes.

Situated on the West side of the Continental Divide it is easy to see why those seeking powder head here for Heli – skiing with all the storm fronts coming through dumping powder on the slopes. The Heli Plex where rk heliski heads out from is based at Panorama Mountain Village and allows you the chance to meet some of the guides and watch the helicopters take off at "Choppers Landing" restaurant.

Accommodation is slope side with a cluster of condominiums and hotels around the base of the chairlifts with several restaurants, and outdoor hot pools. Scattered throughout Panorama Mountain Village are restaurant options and an open air gondola links the bottom of the village to the top.

This resort is a great option for getting away from the crowds with over a 100 trails to keep you busy and Heli skiing right at your door step.

Getting to Panorama - hop aboard the twice daily motor coach transfer from Calgary Airport to Panorama and return. Departs Calgary at 1pm and 5pm. Departs Panorama at 6.45 am and 12noon. Transfers must be pre-booked.

Night Skiing will be open 7 days a week, on 3x bigger terrain. Anyone with a valid pass for the day can keep skiing past 4pm and into the night on Showoff with access via the Mile 1 High Speed Quad.
