The RCR Rail Park park provides skiers and riders of all ages and abilities to test their skills and have fun on the mountain. The Park has great features for everybody - even for those who are new to the park scene, as well as families looking for something new to try.
Snow Host
Lake Louise Resort Hosts are easily identified in their yellow Helly Hanson suits they meet at the far left side of the lower deck area when looking at the mountain. You will need to arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to the departure time to allow enough time to be assigned to your group leader.
An announcement will be made prior to each tour departure time which is10:00am and 1:15pm.The tour will take approx 1.5 to 2 hrs.
On Mountain Dining
Lake Louise Mountain Resort also proudly offers four alpine lodges and the Kokanee Kabin to serve your dining needs. A must is to try a "Beaver Tail" which is a sugary pastry served at the Kabin.
At the base area The Lodge of the Ten Peaks a fabulous log building offers a selection of cuisine from a food court, coffee bar, the Powderkeg Lounge serving stone baked pizzas Belgian and Canadian beer and for upscale dining is the Great Bear Room.
Whiskey Jack Lodge has great decks and has a selection of food throughout the day. A must is to join in the fun on Friday nights for Apres Ski where you get to enjoy a buffet and live entertainment and dancing.
Temple Lodge located on the backside, Temple Lodge offers rustic charm in a spectacular setting. A log building with large deck, Temple is the perfect place to enjoy a break from the slopes. Temple Lodge offers both a cafeteria and our rustic restaurant, Sawyers Nook
Ski Shuttle Service
Improved ski shuttle service for the 2011/12 season, adding a minimum of six major stops outside hotels on Banff Avenue. The new pick ups for all resorts - Mt Norquay, the Lake Louise Ski Area and Sunshine Village willl be in addition to stops already at The Fairmont Banff Springs and main downtown location behind the Mountain Royal Hotel with some hotel pick ups to express service from centralized hubs. The current hotel to resort direct services will continue in the hamlet Lake Louise. The enhanced ski shuttle service will contine to be included in the traditional tri-area lift ticket price. Final locations and schedules will be confirmed as the 2011/12 season begins.
