Resort
Lake Louise Ski Resort is the second largest ski resort behind Whistler Blackcomb Mountain with a green run off every single chairlift allowing you to ski with friends and family for the day no matter what ability you are.
Most of the accommodation at Lake Louise is found around the Village which is about 5 – 10 minutes away from the resort. There is no ski in ski out accommodation at Lake Louise so getting to the resort is by the free shuttle buses or via car. The Tri – Area Lift Pass will cover you for not only skiing at Lake Louise but also free shuttle buses and skiing at Sunshine and Mt Norquay in Banff which is about 45 minutes away.
The Village has a small selection of about 15 shops including a grocery store and more shops can be found at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.
The nice thing about staying at Lake Louise is that if you are wanting to take part in more adventure activities such as day trips to Kicking Horse, Heli Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Backcountry skiing or Snowmobiling these are all easily accessible from Lake Louise.
