Resort
An excellent historic and authentic ski resort that is perfect for families, Kimberley Alpine Resort offers everything you are looking for in a ski getaway.
Located in the beautiful Purcell Range of the Canadian Rockies, Kimberley Alpine Resort provides beautiful views in a laid-back and friendly atmosphere. Famous for its consistent snow conditions, and with 70 runs to choose from that range from beginner through expert, there is a lot to explore at Kimberley.
Kimberley is an excellent family resort with full day care facilities, Ski & Snowboard School programs and lessons, day and evening activities including cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, KidzRule Evening Program, night skiing, movies, hockey, curling, skating and more! And with a new terrain park & halfpipe, there is enough mountain for everyone -- 67 runs, 2,465 vertical feet and 1,800 acres of terrain. The Northstar Express quad chair soars 2,500 feet from base to summit in less than nine minutes.
Known as the “Bavarian City of the Rockies” and just a few minutes away is the city of Kimberley. The 103-year-old town meshes seamlessly with the new village, and Kimberley was one of the first areas to offer on-mountain accommodation.
Complement your adventure with all the great shopping and dining found in Kimberley's downtown “German-themed” Platzl shopping area.
