Banff National Park is located in the province of Alberta in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. It is situated 128 km (80 miles) west of Calgary, 401 km (250 miles) southwest of Edmonton and 850 km (500 mi) northeast of Vancouver.

Trail Maps: Terrain ParksMt Norquay - Ride at night in the only lit Snowboard Park in the Bow Valley during Night-skiing on Fridays. The park features gap jumps, table tops, and hits for all levels of riders. Sunshine Village Rogers Terrain Park includes 5 acres of features - explore the Rainbow Rail, A-Frame, Whale Tail, Flat Down Rail, Short Box, Roller Jump, Shark Fin, Tail Box, Hand Rail, Table Top, Wall Ride, Dragon Tail, Mini Battleship, C-Bow, Nutcracker, Hip Jump, Banked C or the Roller Coaster. Lake Louise The RCR Rail Park the park provides skiers and riders of all ages and abilities to test their skills and have fun on the mountain. The Park has great features for everybody even for those who are new to the park scene, as well as families looking for something new to try. Snow HostsMt Norquay: Mountain Hosts meet daily, directly across from the day lodge in front by the yellow Mountain Host meeting sign at 10:00am and 1:30pm free of charge.Sunshine Village: Snow Hosts Tours are complimentary mountain tours.Check in outside the Old Sunshine Lodge at 12 noon. Lake Louise Resort: Hosts are easily identified in their yellow Helly Hanson suits they meet at the far left side of the lower deck area when looking at the mountain. On Mountain DiningEach of the three resorts offers on mountain dining.Mt Norquays main lodge at the base of the chairlifts Cascade Lodge has two eateries a Deli and Cafeteria on the main floor and the Lone Pine Pub and Restaurant table service & hearty mountain cuisine on the second floor. The Cascade Lodge is great for those non skiers as the lodge itself is a beautiful 24,000 square foot two-storied "Timber Frame Design". Picture windows over the entire front of the lodge provide breathtaking views of the ski area. Sunshine Village has 8 restaurants located in a variety of locations - its nice to be able to grab a pastry and a coffee at the Java Lift to a pub meal at Trappers. Lake Louise Mountain Resort proudly offers four alpine lodges and the Kokanee Kabin to serve your dining needs. A must is to try a Beaver Tail which is a sugary pastry served at the Kabin. Ski Shuttle ServiceImproved ski shuttle service for the 2011/12 season, adding a minimum of six major stops outside hotels on Banff Avenue. The new pick ups for all resorts - Mt Norquay, the Lake Louise Ski Area and Sunshine Village willl be in addition to stops already at The Fairmont Banff Springs and main downtown location behind the Mountain Royal Hotel with some hotel pick ups to express service from centralized hubs. The enhanced ski shuttle service will contine to be included in the traditional tri-area lift ticket price. Final locations and schedules will be confirmed as the 2011/12 season begins.
