Greetings from a snowy Aspen/Snowmass,   All four mountains (Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass and Buttermilk) are now open for the season! We have had a very steady flow of storms that have made conditions in Aspen/Snowmass fantastic! We have had over 30 inches (75 cm) in the last couple days and our streak of powder days has been great! Buttermilk opened with almost 100% of the terrain open and Aspen Highlands had the Highlands Bowl open for opening day.  The conditions are incredible all over so make sure that everyone knows Aspen/Snowmass is the place for good snow!  Below are some pictures from opening day at Aspen Highlands:

Greetings from Aspen/Snowmass, We opened last Thursday (Nov. 26) with one of the best opening days we have had in recent years.  We had over 500 acres of terrain open for the first day and even more now as our patrols have worked hard to open more and more terrain.  Also this past weekend, Aspen Mountain hosted the Women’s FIS Alpine World Cup races.  The girls raced hard and the course looked fantastic.

Greetings from Aspen/Snowmass! 

We received over two feet (60 cm) of snow this past weekend! It looks like February in town with so much snow covering everything.  We are only 9 days away from opening the lifts and everyone in Aspen/Snowmass can’t wait! Opening weekend we have the return of the FIS Alpine Women’s World Cup race on Aspen Mountain and it’s a great way to kick off the season.

We received 19 inches (46 cm) yesterday and another storm is coming this way!  We have unbelievable early season snow here in Aspen/Snowmass and the skiing has been awesome!  Yesterday was surely only the first powder day of many more to come.  Here are a few pictures from yesterday……

We are officially open for the season!!!  Aspen and Snowmass open today with a great amount of terrain.  We also have the Women’s FIS World Cup on Aspen Mountain this weekend!  As they say, “Aspen loves fast women!”

Greetings from Aspen/Snowmass….we received well over a foot (30 cm) of new snow on top of our four mountains last night.  Winter has arrived early in Aspen/Snowmass and hopefully this will mean another record snow fall year!  Please remind your clients that this season will be a great time to visit Aspen/Snowmass with our Buy 8 Get 14 on lift tickets and kid’s ski school lessons.  With a deal like that and four mountains all on the same lift ticket, it will be hard to find a better offer!  Below are some pictures from the recent snow.

Snowvision held a FAB BlackOnWhite First Tracks pre Apres Ski Function on the 8th of May at the VW Continental Cars Showroom…..I am a bit slow getting around to writing about this, but found the pictures I took at the evening and it reminded me to get this up on the blog.  Snowvision raises money to support NZ Ski Athletes so the function was to raise money and to introduce two new sponsors for 2008: Ski Traveller and Power Plate.  It was a fantastic evening, Morton Estate Wines (another sponsor) provided the wine and the caterers worked wonders with the food!  We offered 4 FREE Nights & 4 FREE Days Skiing in Vail to any person from the evening that signed up for the newly launched Apres Ski Club of New Zealand!  So remember, if you sign up to the club and book your ski holiday with Ski Traveller you are in to win 4 Nights in Vail & 4 Days FREE Skiing - the odds are very good !
