New this year are Euro Snack kiosks located on both mountains, serving Liege Waffles and European hot dogs served in crusty baguettes. In addition, the newly re-opened Raven’s Nest Restaurant will feature fresh Artisan sandwiches and a great selection of soups and salads. Other new menu items to look forward to at Whistler Blackcomb’s existing restaurants include: Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine at Rendezvous Lodge; New Artisan sandwiches, salads, soups and stews at the Rendezvous and Roundhouse Lodges; a Latin American inspired menu at Merlin’s Bar at the base of Blackcomb; hot carved-to-order sandwiches at the Horstman Hut; and new paninis and made-to-order salads at Pika’s.
Great snow, great food - a winning combination.

New to Whistler Kids & Ride Tribe this season, flaik is a real-time tracking solution for skiers and riders that not only provides extra safety, but allows participants to log their day to see what runs they were on, how much vertical was achieved and see where they want to ski in the future at Whistler Blackcomb.
flaik brings a new mountain experience for skiers and riders by utilizing a combination of a GPS tag and cellular technology to provide real time tracking of the exact location of guests, their physical relationship to other guests or resort staff and performance elements such as vertical and runs skied. Once registered on www.flaik.com users can view their day on the mountain online and share it with friends and family.
flaik is a world leader in high alpine tracking, providing a great way to enhance lessons participants’ experience on the mountain. With the ability to see their runs online after their lesson, flaik provides a great talking point and provides a new way to enjoy and remember their day.

Hi Sarah - have finally made it back to Dunedin & heading off to Wanaka Wednesday.
Just a short note to say thank you for your travel bookings & to let you know every thing went to plan.
Arrived at hotel at Robson St & were upgraded so that was nice. The Gables were very good (as you predicted $500 “bond” on credit card) & once we had worked out where we were, discovered we were close to both Whistler & Blackcomb.Snowed for 2 days when we arrived so had great snow the whole time.Sunpeaks again was very good snow but very very cold - minus 25 & afraid the fingers & toes froze - apparently very unusual for that time of year.
So again thank you for your super efficiency in organizing every thing.
If you are ever down “south” do contact me - ski mainly Coronet Peak (although based in Wanaka) but intend to do odd days at Cardrona.
Regards
Hilary
